A Warm Welcome to Our New Subscribers – Thank You!

Firstly, we’d like to say a huge welcome to everyone who has recently joined us here at Never Two Late. Whether you discovered us through our YouTube channel, Narrow Escapes, social media, or simply stumbled across our little corner of the internet, thank you for coming aboard. We hope you’ll enjoy following our journey as we continue exploring Britain’s beautiful waterways.

We also want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has watched the re-run of our episodes on Narrow Escapes. We have been overwhelmed by your kind words, lovely comments, and messages. It has been so special reading about how much you enjoyed seeing our story again, and we’re incredibly grateful for every bit of support.

One unexpected bonus from the TV re-run has been the number of people who have reached out to us. Steve has been busy in his workshop making more of his handmade coin jewellery after receiving a wonderful influx of orders—thank you to everyone who has supported his craft. Every piece is made with care, and it’s fantastic to see so many of them heading off to new homes.

But if we’re honest, the very best part has been meeting so many of you in person over the last few days.

There is something really special about stopping for a chat along the towpath. We’ve met viewers who have recognised us from the television, YouTube subscribers who have been following our adventures for years, and people who are simply curious about life afloat. We never tire of talking about narrowboat life, explaining how the locks work, sharing stories from our travels, or answering questions about living on the water.

These conversations remind us why we started sharing our journey in the first place. The canals are about so much more than boats—they’re about community, friendship, and meeting people from all walks of life.

Whether you’ve been with us from the very beginning or you’ve only just found us, thank you for being part of our adventure. Your encouragement, comments, likes, shares, and friendly waves from the towpath mean more than you know.

We have plenty more cruising adventures, vlogs, books, jewellery, and stories to share over the coming months. Maxine is also going to do a weekly blog with photos and recipes, so you can subscribe here to get notified. And we’re so pleased you’ve chosen to come along for the journey.

Until next time, thank you for your continued support, and if you happen to spot Never Two Late on the cut, don’t be shy—come and say hello. We’d love to meet you.

Happy boating,

Maxine, Steve & Mexi 🐾
